Message of The National Day of Resentment

HL

Message of The National Day of Resentment
Respecfully sent to the compatriots in Vietnam and abroad

My dear compatriots,

Exactly 43 years ago, the North Communists completed their invasion of our beloved South Vietnam. The Republic of Vietnam regime was invaded by the Vietnamese communist forces, with the support and help of international communism. But that invasion didn’t undermine the Republic of Vietnam’s legitimacy and just cause. Under the iron grip of the governing communist party, our country became a gigantic prison. The South Vietnamese people were treated as second class citizens, with half a million people “re-educated” in prison-camps, hundreds of thousands people dead at sea or in the jungle, on their quest for freedom.
On this National Day of Resentment, we commemorate the soldiers and cadres who sacrificed their lives on the battlefield to defend the nation with our deepest gratitude and utmost respect.
We will always keep in our heart our beloved veterans who are still in Vietnam and try to help them alleviate their pain, mental as well as physical.
Today, on this historic resentment day, we vow to fight with our mind and our action to bring democracy back to our beloved nation. Our country has never faced such grave challenges as it does now. External and internal enemies are threatening the destiny of our nation.
Fortunately our country has never had a more favorable situation for our struggle: vicious rivalry for power and interests within the leadership structure of the communist party, the military and the police.
Furthermore, the fear that people had for the government, has almost vanished. People who lost their land and properties, are now bravely defying oppressive forces. Young people are challenging the government and veterans of the People's Armed Forces are protesting the bad treatment and ingratitude they have been suffering from.
Anger has spread in the impoverished masses exasperated by the excessive opulence of the "red capitalists”, robbers of the nation’s wealth, in a system of corruption that encompasses the ruling body. This whole bad situation has caused the vast majority of people in the country to loose faith in the regime and to increasingly look forward to a new regime: the Republic of Vietnam, dynamic, modern, timely founded to rescue the country in grave danger and to reconstruct it, bring peace, freedom and prosperity to the people.
Dear compatriots,
Your deepest aspiration is about to be satisfied. Rise as one and reconquer the sacred right to self-determination for yourself, for your country. No force, no matter how strong and oppressive will dare to use violent retribution against you as they know the power of the people will annihilate them.
Nicolae Ceausescu, the former communist dictator of Romania and his wife were executed after he ordered his troops and loyalists to violently repress the rising Romanian people but they did not obey his order.
The Soviet Union with its mighty force, the Red Army and Secret Service, along with its vassals in Eastern Europe of the Varsaw Military Pact, had disbanded in a matter of days without people shedding their blood. Coming to realize their responsibility to the people and fearing revenge from them, troops showed sympathy and affection for their compatriots instead of massacring them, causing communist leaders to completely helpless in front of the united rage of their people.

History eternally repeats as all men and women long for liberty and happiness.
The Soviet Empire collapsed after 74 years of plunging a big part of the world into misery and suffering and stagnating the Russian nation from advancing towards prosperity and peace.
The Vietnamese communist party will not survive beyond this same period after having brought disaster to our nation, which should have become a mighty, prosperous and peaceful nation.
Along with favorable elements in our country, we also have a powerful weapon of the international law: the Paris Peace Accords of January 27, 1973 and the March 2, 1973 Final Act that 12 countries signed with recognition from the United Nations Secretary General. Its content expresses the commitment of all the partners to respect the people of the Republic of South Vietnam’s right to self-determination, sovereignty, territorial integrity of Vietnam. The reunification of Vietnam shall be carried out on the basis of discussions and agreements between North and South Vietnam, without coercion or annexion by either party………

The North Vietnamese Communists violated the treaty by force, invading the Republic of Vietnam whose Government, as an important signatory, strongly condemned this invasion.
The Government De Jure of the Republic of Vietnam abroad continues the mission and duty of mobilizing the non-communist and non-procommunist signatories to restore the Paris Peace Accord.
We have many reasons to believe in our success. An international treaty like the Paris Peace Accord on Vietnam is not prescribed by time limitation, must be carried out by the signatories according to international law, isn’t absolutely lapsed because our government and South Vietnamese people have always strongly protested since the first days of violation of the treaty

We have the decree and public law of respectively the French Government and the US Congress pertaining to the execution of the agreements. The other signatory governments also have similar decrees or laws, with maybe the exception of some communist countries that disregard international law if it was not favorable for them!
The UN Secretary General has thanked us for our February 1, 2018 message on the issue of Vietnam and the Paris Accord that was sent to him.
Our actions do not stop here and we call on our fellow compatriots around the world to mobilize the representatives, senators, media, and organizations that advocate for human rights and freedom in the democratic countries that signed the Paris Agreement, to support its reinstatement.
This is the most feasible solution not only for Vietnam as expressed but also for peace and security in the East Sea, where China's has been disrupting the area with aggressive acts defying international law, invading islands belonging to many countries in the region, threatening and attacking fishermen, preventing the exploration and exploitation of seabed mineral resources in the area, attempting to control traffic in this important strategic region of the world.

My dear fellows,
Now more than ever, Vietnamese communists are intensifying dangerous activities to cause division within our ranks in order to save their regime. Therefore we must be highly alert and vigilant :
1) Unmask communist agents disguised as Vietnamese nationalists whose objectives are to undermine Vietnamese patriots deemed dangerous for them.
2) Unmask the propagandists who promote a communist brutal repression to spread a spirit of defeat and discourage people who are hesitant before the choice to stand up against the Vietnamese communist party or sit still in peace waiting to die.
3) Watch out for those who shout loudly against communism but at the same time, cause the split in our compatriots furtively by hacking the wound from the era (1963-1967) where a number of Buddhists, monks and nuns, were against the South Vietnamese government Causing a split between Buddhists and Catholics is one of the first objectives of the Vietnamese communist party to shatter our cohesion and weaken us.
Religions have always been the greatest enemy of communism since its beginning. Therefore, we must fully support the leagues of religions in Vietnam as well as abroad, that stand against communism.

Disabling and neutralizing communist agents, cadres, henchmen and sympathizers anywhere equates to half of our struggle: to remove obstacles on the path of unifying the nation with an unbendable resolve to reconquer our right to self-determination, to save, rebuild and protect our country that is in grave danger.

My warmest regards,

Overseas, April 30, National Day of Resentment, 2018
The Prime Minister
